gloss vs matte carbon finish
for engine covers, intake systems, diffusers, lip kits etc.
Gloss carbon has a smooth, shiny finish that reflects a lot of light. This makes the carbon weave look deeper and more noticeable, giving it a rich, high-end appearance. It stands out easily and is often used when a bold, premium look is desired. However, because it is so reflective, it can show fingerprints, dust, and small scratches more clearly.
Matte carbon has a flat, low-shine finish that reduces reflections. The weave is still visible but looks softer and more understated. This gives it a clean, modern, and sporty feel. Matte carbon also hides fingerprints and small marks better, though it does not have the same depth or shine as gloss carbon.
